Today’s raid of ANC Deputy Chairperson, Mike Mabuyakhulu’s home by the National Prosecuting Authority is indicative of the rot within the ANC KZN leadership. The IFP welcomes the developments in the Mabuyakhulu case and it is our hope that the alleged broader corruption syndicate which runs the province will be exposed and be prosecuted.
For far too long has the cabal which is closely attached to former ANC President, Jacob Zuma and whom have been protected within the ranks of the ANC to continue their looting spree of provincial resources will be brought to light.
The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal has run the province into the ground and collapsed key sectors such as health and education to the benefit of the ANC-elite in lining their pockets with public resources.
Furthermore, the trial against Mabuyakhulu and his seven co-accused which to date has not been named must be named and shamed for their alleged involvement in looting from the provincial coffers when their trial starts in February.
KwaZulu-Natal is in desperate need of new leadership with integrity. The IFP is the only party in the province which can bring about this change for clean governance and restore trust in the public service in the province.
We are ready to lead, we are ready to take over the provincial government, just as we brought about many reforms when we ran the provincial government in the past.
Change is coming to KwaZulu-Natal and the IFP will lead this charge
