Condolences to Family of Saba Mbixane of Umhlobo Wenene FM

The Inkatha Freedom Party send its deepest condolences to the family and friends of DJ Saba Mbixane of Umhlobo Wenene FM who tragically passed away yesterday at the Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital.

“The broadcast industry has lost one of its famous and well-liked DJ who excelled as a radio presenter. His presenting skills and contributions to the industry will be sorely missed as he was an inspiration to young presenters”, said IFP National Chairman, Mr Blessed Gwala.

“Mbixane won several awards for his Traditional Music Programmes, Siwel’uthukela and Lavuth’ibhayi. It will be difficult to replace such a talented individual. Our condolences also go to the Eastern Cape Provincial Government, Umhlobo Wenene FM listeners and the SABC family”, concluded Mr Gwala.
