PRINCE MANGOSUTHU BUTHELEZI, MP, TO RECEIVE AND FACILITATE DELIVERY TO THE MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS, OF 650,000 SIGNED PETITONS FROM INTERNATIONAL WILDLIFE NGO, FOUR PAWS, CALLING FOR THE COMPLETE BANNING OF ‘CAPTIVE BRED’ OR ‘CANNED-LION HUNTING’ IN SOUTH AFRICA
n a joint press conference on Tuesday, 13 September, the leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, MP, will meet with Four Paws International Director [South Africa], Ms Fiona Miles to receive and facilitate the delivery of approximately 650,000 hard copy signed petitions signed by people, the world over, calling for an immediate end to the barbaric practice of ‘canned’ or ‘captive-bred’ lion hunting in South Africa.
The signed petitions will thereafter be delivered to the Office of the Minister of Environmental Affairs, for the urgent attention of Minister Edna Molewa.
