Final Call for South Africans to Register Online for the 2024 National and Provincial Elections

Feb 22, 2024 | Press Releases

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) urges all eligible South African citizens to take advantage of the final opportunity to register online to vote.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to promulgate the official election date in the Government Gazette tomorrow. Once the date is promulgated, the Voters’ Roll closes, and citizens will no longer be able to register to vote on 29 May 2024.

There are mere hours left to ensure everyone’s participation in shaping the future of South Africa and installing a new government.

It really is now or never. The 2024 National and Provincial Elections are a critical opportunity for South Africans to elect leaders and representatives who will steer the direction of the country for the next five years.

We encourage our supporters to honour the legacy of Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi by registering to vote IFP.

For assistance with online registration or for more information about the 2024 National and Provincial Elections, please visit the IEC website www.elections.org.za or contact the IEC Call Centre on 0800 11 8000.
