Apr 24, 2018 | Press Releases

On the 26 April 2018, the IFP students wing South African Democratic Student Movement (SADESMO) in Thekwini TVETs Colleges will join the talk with the former SADESMO leaders together with IFP leaders in addressing issues affecting them, the event will be held at Melbourne Campus.

The Thekwini TVETs student has invited members of the IFP leadership to give them advises, under the theme, “Our voice is our action”.

With this theme, we planning to encourage students to stay away from things that are distracting their education. As SADESMO in TVETs colleges we say, “Education first, life experience behind”. Amongst the issues that affect them is BLESSERS that is storming within TVET’s. It has been reported from some media that TVET’s students involved themselves with blesses because of the need for money. You came into the institution to study so let do away from such things that will end up destroying our future. It pains us to see our sisters throwing their future.

Students will be addressed by the former SADESMO leader Mr Andile Biyela.

Details of event are as follows:

Date: (Thursday) 26 April 2018
Venue: Thekwini TVETs College Melbourne Campus, near Dalton hostel
Time: 10:00am

All members of the media are invited to attend
