The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) mourns the untimely passing of Mr. Sandile Mwandla (40), who tragically lost his life in a vehicle accident on Saturday 11 January 2025.
Mr Mwandla had faithfully served as the personal driver to the IFP President, Hon Velenkosini Hlabisa MP since 2019.
Throughout his tenure, Mr. Mwandla demonstrated unwavering dedication and professionalism, earning the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of working with him. His warm demeanor, commitment to excellence, and steadfast loyalty made him not only a crucial member of our staff but also a beloved part of the IFP family.

The void left by Mr. Mwandla’s passing is profound, and he will be deeply missed by colleagues and friends. His loyalty, service and integrity to the IFP President will be remembered fondly by all of us.
The IFP extends heartfelt condolences to the Mwandla family and loved ones during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as we come together to honor the life and contributions of a remarkable individual.
