Gugu Zulu A Hero Who Died With Boots On

Jul 19, 2016 | Press Releases

The IFP has described Gugu Zulu as a hero who died with his boots on. This the party said in a statement issued this evening to mourn the death of Zulu who died while on a Mandela – honouring mission trying to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. IFP’s Deputy National Spokesperson, Joshua Mazibuko said “South Africa mourns the death of a hero who fell on the battlefield with his boots on. Indeed the noble cause he was to which he was commited when he met his tragic death distinguishes him as a patriotic South African who looked for the good of those who were less fortunate.

“May his family find solace in the warm messages and prayers from diverse South Africans. Our hearts are with this family at this moment of sadness.”
