IFP Calls On Pedestrians To Obey The Rules Of The Road

Dec 7, 2016 | Press Releases

The Inkatha Freedom Party, Member of eThekwini Executive Committee, Cllr Mdu Nkosi calls on the pedestrians to ensure their safety by accurately adhering to the rules of the road to avoid further incidents this festive season.

We plead with pedestrians to use the bridges, sidewalks and other pedestrian crossings properly because if you choose to neglect this, and cross on freeways and other un-allowed road crossing it could cost you your life. Value your life and be safe this festive season by obeying the rules of the road and road signs,” concluded Cllr Nkosi.

In conclusion, “The IFP in EThekwini wishes all the communities within the city a blissful Christmas and safe travel. We therefore call for people to make sure that they also seriously take note of all the government road awareness programmes so we can all be safe even in 2017,” said Cllr Nkosi.
