IFP Congratulates Jabulani ‘Sjava’ Hadebe on his Bet Award

Jun 27, 2018 | Press Releases

The IFP would like to congratulate our very own Hip Hop Artist Jabulani Hadebe, widely known by his stage name ‘Sjava’ on flying the KwaZulu-Natal flag high and winning the BET Best International Act ‘Viewer’s Choice’ Award in the Best New International Act category which was held in the United States of America on Friday.

Hadebe who was born and bred in the dusty streets of Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal blends rap music with genres like maskandi, mbhaqanga, isicathamiya among others is a shining example of how important it is to be authentically African and pride yourself with your religion and culture.

This should educate the youth of this province, that the world respect us more when we take pride in our own culture and religion.
