IFP Extends Condolences To Victims Of Severe KZN Floods

Apr 23, 2019 | Press Releases

The IFP wishes to extend our deepest condolences to the friends, family and loved ones of the 23 people who tragically died over the past two days following severe rainfall and flooding conditions in KwaZulu-Natal.

We call on the KZN Department of Cooperative Governance to immediately release disaster relief funds and to urgently get to work on rebuilding homes and providing adequate shelter to all affected.

We plead with all community members to assist with disaster relief efforts and to be patient, vigilant and to steer clear of all unsafe roads and areas affected.

We commend all Emergency response personnel who are working around the clock to assist communities across the province with immediate relief.
