IFP Extends Congratulations to Banyana Banyana

The IFP wishes to congratulate the South African Women’s National soccer team Banyana Banyana for winning their semi-final match of the AWCON2018 last night.

This 2- nil victory has qualified Banyana Banyana for the first time for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France next year.

Thanks to Thembi Kgatlana and Lebohang Ramalepe who were responsible for securing the two score to nil victory.

We wish our national team all the best with their upcoming match and hope that the nation rallies behind them in support as they will hold the South African flag up high!

We are proud of their achievements and their roaring success in making our nation proud.

The IFP firmly believes that the Department of Sport and Recreation should reprioritise funding assist Banyana Banyana who has long been calling for better funding in the development of women’s football in our country.

This team comprises of powerful women and acts as an example to millions of young girls and women and our country at large.
