The IFP’s success in the Msinga Ward 1 by-election in KwaZulu-Natal yesterday, certainly shows the satisfaction of the residents who experience our continued efforts to improve and fast-track service delivery.
On behalf of the IFP Provincial Executive Committee, I wish to extend our congratulations to Councillor Nhlanhleni Qamu and express our utmost gratitude to the residents of Msinga and all our local branch, constituency and district structures as well as all activists who came out in their numbers and who ran a successful campaign which ultimately resulted in this victory.
The IFP will continue to deliver on our promises and we will do so with high-levels of integrity and responsiveness as we build on a 45 year legacy, of strong leadership, trust and service excellence.
The residents of ward 1 have confirmed that they are pleased with their services under an IFP administration. This victory echoes our 2019 election victory and resurgence in support for the party in communities across the country, where we were not enjoying support before.
The IFP structures across KwaZulu-Natal are geared towards victory in the 2021 local and provincial election. All our public representatives in the province are tasked to deliver, to remain responsive to the needs of all people in every ward, council or committee, and to ensure that we serve the residents who have entrusted us to deliver excellence on their behalf.
