The IFP Women’s Brigade would like to send its best wishes to the ANCWL as it holds its 12th National Conference at St. Georges Hotel, Irene, Tshwane.
“Although we differ in politics and opinions but we feel that it is important for us to wish them a successful conference. We hope that the delegates will follow due process and exercise their democratic right to elect leaders who will best articulate the aspirations of women generally,” said IFP Women’s Brigade National Chairperson, Mrs Thembeni kaMadlopha-Mthethwa.
“We believe that those who will be elected at this conference will have the responsibility to champion the needs of women and to be a voice of the voiceless in ensuring that government fulfills its mandate and obligations towards women. The Executive Committee that will be elected will be called upon to ensure that there is unity in the organisation. Women have the potential to contribute towards nation building wherever they may find themselves. Women are known for their ability to build families and communities thereby contributing towards national progress and national pride,” concluded Mrs Madlopha-Mthethwa.
