The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) would like to convey their thanks to all South Africans who took the time to register to vote this weekend. This patriotic act is an essential step for all of those who wish to exercise their democratic right to vote on 1 November 2021.
IFP leadership was deployed across various constituencies on 18 and 19 September, encouraging South Africans to register to vote.
Many municipalities across the country are crying out for change, and for a Party that will step up, and provide good governance, and servant leadership. The IFP is that Party and will put the people’s needs on top of the agenda.
The IFP would further like to commend those who registered online.
The right to vote is every South African’s constitutionally enshrined right, but if you are not registered, you will be unable to exercise this right.
For those who might still want to register to vote, the window remains open. According to the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), online voter registration continues until midnight on Monday 20 September 2021.
We therefore encourage all unregistered voters, particularly first-time voters, to take advantage of the final hours, and register to vote online.
