IFP’s Thoughts and Prayers with People of Türkiye and Syria

Feb 8, 2023 | Press Releases

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) extends its thoughts and prayers to the people of Türkiye and Syria as they face the aftermath of this week’s devastating earthquake.

We call for global cooperation in this hour of international pain and are encouraged by the outpouring of support from countries across the globe that have been sending aid and personnel to assist with relief and recovery efforts.

As ever, South Africa is ably represented by Gift of the Givers, who have stepped up to provide their help in the wake of this terrible tragedy.

The IFP further extends its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives, as well as to the people of Türkiye and Syria.
