IFPWB: Let us Honour Madikizela Mandela by Eradicating All Forms of Racism and Corruption in South Africa

Apr 3, 2018 | Press Releases

The Inkatha Freedom Party Women’s Brigade calls upon all South African’s to honour Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela by eradicating racism and corruption in our country.

“If we are truly to celebrate the life of Mama Winnie Madikizela Mandela we must eradicate racism and corruption from within our borders. It’s high time that we now shift the focus and eradicate everything that is seen to be dividing our society.

If there are people who still discriminate against others on the grounds of their race, religion and colour it means that we are still far behind in reaching our goal of a united nation.

We need to build a nation free from racism and from any form of discrimination. We must condemn this scourge and not offer a safe haven to those with racist attitudes in our society,” said IFP National Women’s Brigade National Chairperson, Mrs Thembeni Madlopha-Mthethwa, MPL.

“On behalf of the Inkatha Freedom Party Women’s Brigade I wish to extend our deepest sympathies on the untimely passing of Mama Winnie Madikizela Mandela.

A tragic accident has silenced a dynamic leader, and her loss will be deeply mourned by all who knew her. Let the example of her leadership and accomplishments stand as a lasting legacy for all South Africans to follow and emulate.

All who knew her are the richer for her memory, and South Africa can be justly proud of her role and the life she lived,” concluded Mrs Madlopha-Mthethwa.

We honour her legacy and mourn her loss alongside her family, friends and the people of South Africa.
