IFPYB Takes IFP Private Members Bill to Gauteng

May 16, 2022 | Press Releases

On Sunday, 15 May, the Inkatha Freedom Party Youth Brigade (IFPYB) lead the launch of the IFP’s Private Members Bill (PMB), the Employment Services Amendment Bill, in Gauteng. This follows the KZN launch on Workers’ Day.

IFP President, Hon. Velenkosini Hlabisa, MPL, delivered the keynote speech.

The IFP believes that this Private Member’s Bill (PMB) provides a real solution to youth unemployment. The Party started working on this Bill more than two years ago, following concerns about growing youth unemployment and the number of foreign nationals working in the unskilled and low-skilled occupational levels.

In a nutshell, the IFP PMB’s aims to “prioritise the employment of South African citizens who are ready, willing, and capable of taking up the available job opportunities”.

The IFPYB NEC invites all South Africans to attend the launch.

Date: 15 May 2022
Time: 10h00
Venue: Uncle Tom’s Hall, Orlando West
