This House noting that:

1. KZN has the highest prevalence of HIV/AIDS

2. The Universal Test and Treat programme that the Department of Health has launched has not been effectively rolled out

3. MEC Dhlomo misleads the province by stating that the Department has done everything to ensure the programme runs smoothly

4. Health care workers have not been properly informed and trained

Calls on the MEC for Health to ensure that

1. Health care workers are well trained to provide the service

2. Health care centres are provided with the necessary equipment and resources to successfully roll out the programme.
