Meeting to discuss military veterans salaries turns to chaos

The IFP member of the Executive of the eThekwini Municipality, Cllr. Mdu Nkosi has expressed his grave concern as an unofficial report was brought to his notice that a meeting of the Shop Stewards and other stakeholders, scheduled last week Friday, 12 April 2019 at 09:00 at the Prior Road Office was stormed by an aggrieved group.  The meeting turned into chaos and there were casualties.  I have written to the City Manager, requesting a report of the situation which lead to this disruption, said Cllr. Nkosi.
