On behalf of the Inkatha Freedom Party, I would like to extend our good wishes and support to all South Africans, especially the IFP’s Muslim supporters, as we enter the first week of Ramadan.
It is our hope that Muslims throughout South Africa, and indeed the world, find peace and joy. May this time of reflection and celebration with loved ones strengthen you and your family. The IFP knows that strong and close-knit families are the foundation of a strong and unified country.
In this time of fasting, prayer and reflection, we pray that your faith is strengthened and that you achieve all that you set out to achieve.
Our thoughts are with Muslims throughout the world who have been made to suffer for their faith, as well as those who are caught in poverty or trapped by war. We pray for your comfort, your safety, and most importantly for an end to all violent conflict.
As you fast and pray, may you find your peace and happiness. We wish you a peaceful Ramadan!
