Motion on Use of State Vehicles

This House noting that

  1. on 30 November there will be a by-election at Wards 31 and 32 in Umhlatuze
  2. yet again the ANC is using municipal vehicles to campaign for its candidate
  3. this is not the first such blatant abuse of state resources for party political purposes

Calls on the IEC CEO, Mosotho Moepya to demonstrate that he is serious about conducting free and fair elections and that the IEC is not controlled by the ANC by fully investigating this recent incident and to give feedback on the IFP’s previous complaints such as what happened at Indaka in January 2016.
