IFP Chief Whip: Parliament

The IFP welcomes the announcement by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) together with the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) that registration for voting abroad has opened.

We encourage all citizens abroad and supporters of the IFP in the international community to make use of this opportunity to contribute to positive change and further grow the IFP’s support abroad.

Every vote counts in ensuring we reach democratic maturity, 25 years on since the dawn of our country’s first election in 1994.

The IFP has always been a voice of reason. It’s Leader Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has always been a principled leader, free of corruption and always committed to the welfare of all South Africans residents living within its borders or internationally. Constructive opposition in a democracy is a sine qua non.

Each and every South African abroad should put their country first and register to participate in the upcoming National General Elections.

Further information may be obtained from all DIRCO – South African Missions Abroad and on the IEC’s website.

Let us work together to restore integrity in the public service here at home and elect the capable and able leaders who will address the many challenges our country currently faces.
